Stayin' alive – Mit Seuchen leben (Exhibition Design)
The interactive and multimedia exhibition with the participation of the University of Konstanz illuminates the topic "Pandemic History and Present" from the perspectives of science, politics and society.
What influence do pandemics have on our lives and on society - then, now and in the future? This question is the focus of the interactive exhibition "STAYIN' ALIVE - living with epidemics", which could be visited from July to October 2021 in the Museum "Turm zur Katz" in Constance. The joint project of the University of Constance, the University of Applied Sciences for Technology, Economics and Design (HTWG) Constance, the University of Music Trossingen and the Constance Cultural Office looks at the role of pandemics and epidemics in human history, from ancient times to the present. The aim of the exhibition is to provide visitors with insights into how pandemics have been dealt with in world history and to convey medical, political and social perspectives. Due to the pandemic, the exhibition was designed under special hygiene concepts and could also be perceived via app on tablets including Artificial Intelligence. Different teams planned and designed the individual floors as well as the corporate design and marketing of the whole exhibition.
