This Masterthesis deals with the problem of lightpollution. The book talks about the risks and effects of the environmental problem which affects human as well as nature and wildlife. Photos in the "City of Lights" Frankfurt am Main and the certified dark sky place "Sternenpark Rhön" show the contrast of civilisation and countryside but also the widespread consequences of artificial lights.
