A WORKSHOP
A WORKSHOP on redefining everyday objects through simplification. This is a folder that was created in the course of documenting the process and the results of A WORKSHOP that Mario Naegele and Nadine Wetzel organised. A PDF that anyone can print and file so that the publication can take any form, contained by a printed ribbon to give context.
All participants were given an object to work with in 4 phases (ANALYSE, DEFINE, REDEFINE, PRODUCE). A safety pin became, through the idea of accessibility, a cup with infinite options of holding (Hannah Fischer). A glass became, through the thought of defining a space, a towel that as a placeholder frames our environment (Erik Siemund). A dice became, through the thought of coincidence, a series of posters whose design was generated (Katharina Schönberger). A fork became, through the thought of extension, a cap with an extended shield (Leon Reeb).
